Movement can be transformed into meditation. The key is to avoid it becoming mechanical. While running, use the whole body, breathe from the belly, and feel fully alive.

Begin running... Use your whole body... Breathe from the belly... Feel fully alive... A moment can come when the runner disappears and only the running remains... If the activity becomes automatic, switch to another to maintain alertness.
